WHY SHY CATS NEED A BUDDY
Bonded pairs of adult cats seem to be the hardest to rehome. Especially if one or both are still very shy after living a life on the streets or in other bad situations. They often require the company of their BFF to help them adjust to changes in their life. I have featured many bonded pairs in the past Many of them are still looking for their forever home. Like Petra and Petunia, Phaedra’s daughters. Do you remember that story? Mom fought for her life, but never missed a day of caring for her babies. Mom found her home some time ago, but shy Petra and Petunia are still waiting. Miri and Merri-Lee. Rescued from a collapsing barn. Still shy. Still needing a patient home. And Rembrandt and Picasso. Enjoying life in foster care. Here’s what their foster mom has to say. “Picasso is like my PSW of the house lol Anybody meows, gets shut into a room or anything and he's right there talking away to them and getting our attention to let them out. He talks so much I don't know how I can live without hearing him when he goes!! Rembrandt is the shy guy who will wait patiently for a spot on the cat tree and loves to chase treats. His game is you tossing them one by one so he can chase it. He also chases shadows lol . Anyone who adopts these boys and has the patience to earn their trust will be blessed” And who could forget Mayflower and Moonbeam, Smokey and Spatz and recently Galahad and Lancelot, and Rowena and Avalon. These are just some of the precious furry duos trying to find their place in this world. Several of them can be seen currently at The Little Paws Cat Café during their regular visiting hours.
